Biography

Derek G. Ma is an Assistant Professor at the University of Warwick, specializing in Computational Modeling and Data Science. His interdisciplinary research has earned him the prestigious Early Career Fellowship, focusing on the application of data science in geo-engineering. He has received the Global Talent award from the Royal Academy of Engineering and has significantly contributed to policy advisory roles, notably with the Welsh Government's Coal Tips Safety Taskforce.
