Dr. Guruprasad Nagaraj

Biography

Guruprasad Nagaraj is an Emergency Physician at Liverpool Hospital, Sydney, Australia. He holds the position of Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales and Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney. Additionally, he serves as Vice Chair of the Global Emergency Medicine Special Interest Group of the International Federation for Emergency Medicine. Guruprasad is a Research Fellow at the Simpson Institute and supervises Honours students at the SouthWest Emergency Research Institute. He has played a crucial role in developing Geriatric Emergency Medicine in Australia, establishing the country's initial Geriatric Emergency Medicine Term at Hornsby Hospital. His research interests primarily focus on Geriatric Emergency Medicine, Medical Education, International Emergency Medicine, Simulation, and the intersection of Philosophy, Poetry, and Music.
