Biography

Gus Gazzard is a Professor of Ophthalmology specializing in glaucoma studies at University College London. He is a leading figure in the field of glaucoma treatment, with a focus on angle closure glaucoma and selective laser trabeculoplasty. Gazzard established the Chief Investigator role for a six-year NIHR-HTA funded multi-centre LiGHT trial, which evaluated the effectiveness of selective laser trabeculoplasty.
