Biography

Gyaandeo Maharajh is the Chief of the Division of Cardiovascular Surgery at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Ottawa. He completed his medical degree at McGill University in 1990, followed by various surgical fellowships including Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at the University of Colorado in 2000 and the University of Toronto in 1999. His special interests also include pediatric minimally invasive off-pump repair strategies. As a dedicated academic and clinician, he contributes to advancing surgical techniques and improving outcomes in pediatric cardiac surgery.
