Biography

György Dán is a professor at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden. He earned his M.Sc. degrees in Computer Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 1999 and in Business Administration from Corvinus University of Budapest in 2003. He completed his Ph.D. in Telecommunications at KTH in 2006. Dán's research interests encompass a wide range of topics including design and analysis of content management computing systems, game theoretical models for networked systems, and cybersecurity in cyber-physical systems and power systems. He has authored or co-authored over 150 scientific publications and has received multiple awards, such as the Ericsson Research Foundation awards in 2010, 2012, and 2014, as well as a Fulbright research grant from the Fulbright Commission in 2012. Dán has also participated in various roles in prominent conferences, such as serving as a TPC co-chair for IEEE SmartGridComm and a regular reviewer for IEEE journals.
