Dr. H Eiselt

Biography

H. Eiselt joined the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of New Brunswick in 1986, specializing in the Quantitative Methods Area. He teaches courses such as Quantitative Analysis and Location Theory within the BBA program. Throughout his career, Dr. Eiselt has been recognized for his outstanding contributions, receiving the UNB Merit Award in 1991 and again in 2016, as well as the Faculty of Business Administration's Excellence Research Award in 1998, 2003, and 2015. Additionally, he serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Dalhousie University. His previous positions include appointments at Concordia University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Dr. Eiselt is an Associate Editor for the journal INFOR and is a member of various Advisory Editorial Boards including Computers & Operations Research. His research interests focus on competitive location models, multi-criteria decision analysis, and alternative solution methods for linear programming, including multipurpose shopping, political districting, hospital efficiency evaluations, and counterterrorism measures. He has authored or edited sixteen monographs and produced 125 refereed journal articles and book chapters, and his work has been presented at conferences worldwide, published in leading outlets such as the Annals of Operations Research and the European Journal of Operational Research.
