Biography

Hadas Kress-Gazit is the Geoffrey S.M. Hedrick Senior Endowed Professor at the Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Cornell University, and Associate Dean for Diversity in Academic Affairs within Cornell’s College of Engineering. She received her Ph.D. in Electrical Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008. Among her accolades are the NSF CAREER award in 2010, the DARPA Young Faculty Award in 2012, and the Excellence in Teaching awards from Cornell Engineering in 2013 and 2019. She has held leadership roles in several prestigious robotics organizations and conferences, fostering advancement in the field.
