Dr. Haddon Pantel

Biography

Haddon Pantel, MD, is a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon specializing in the treatment of benign, inflammatory, and cancerous diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus. He received his medical degree from the University of Vermont followed by a General Surgery Residency at Lahey Clinic, where he also completed his fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery. As an Assistant Professor at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Pantel is actively involved in clinical practice and patient care, promoting the importance of early diagnosis and preventative measures, such as screening for colorectal cancer. He is passionate about educating patients on the symptoms of colorectal conditions and stresses the need for regular screenings, particularly for individuals at average risk starting at age 45. Dr. Pantel is recognized for his dedication to patient care and his role in leading various programs within colorectal surgery at Yale. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is board certified in both General Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery.
