Biography

HaEun Lee is an Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan School of Nursing. Her research focuses on improving health equity in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) by empowering women and addressing the health of families and communities. Lee has extensive experience working in African countries such as Uganda, Zambia, Liberia, and Nigeria. Her research projects include the 'Governance, Citizenship, Accountability: A Study of People-Centered Development in the Ugandan Health Sector' and a study on anxiety rates in the Dadaab Refugee Camp in Kenya. In addition to her research, she has formal teaching and mentoring experience, providing guest lectures on global health and maternal child health topics.
