Dr. Hailong Wang

Biography

Hailong Wang is an Assistant Professor in the School of Physics at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He holds a Ph.D. from Ohio State University completed in 2015. His research focuses on functional quantum materials, particularly in areas such as spin transport dynamics, quantum materials devices, spin qubit magnetometry, and hybrid quantum devices. Dr. Wang's work aims to enhance the understanding of quantum mechanics in materials that exhibit unique magnetic properties and behaviors. He has contributed to the field through various publications, exploring key aspects of quantum sensing and the manipulation of spin currents in advanced materials. His insights into antiferromagnetic insulators and van der Waals materials are shaping new directions in quantum material research, promising advancements in quantum computing and information processing. Hailong Wang actively participates in the academic community, sharing his findings at conferences and collaborating with other researchers in the area of quantum physics and material science.
