Biography

Hal Goldman is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of History at Carleton University. His academic journey commenced with a Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College, followed by a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School. He further pursued his education with a Master’s degree from the University of Vermont and culminated with a Doctorate from the University of Massachusetts. Professor Goldman is also interested in U.S. Foreign Policy and Western Civilization, as well as the Holocaust. He teaches a variety of courses, delving into topics like American Constitutional History, the impact of war on society, and feminist perspectives. His contributions to academic excellence have been recognized with multiple teaching awards and nominations, illustrating his commitment to education and student engagement.
