Biography

Hamid Ebadi is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary. He completed his medical education and Neurology residency training at the University of Tehran. In 1998, he began his academic career as an Assistant Professor in Neurology at the University of Gorgan in Iran. Dr. Ebadi further advanced his expertise by undergoing specialized training in clinical electrophysiology focused on neuromuscular disorders at the University of Paris 6, Pitie-Salpetriere Hospital from 2004 to 2005. His commitment to the field continued with a Clinical Fellowship in Neuromuscular Diseases at the University of Toronto, which he completed between 2011 and 2014. His research interests include Muscle and Nerve Ultrasound and the study of Small Fiber Neuropathy, enhancing diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to neuromuscular conditions.
