Biography

Hamutal Mazrier's academic career has utilized a comparative approach in publishing research focused on spontaneous canine and feline animal models of inherited diseases. Her research aligns with various strengths of the Faculty of Science, including understanding life on Earth, treating diseases and disorders, and healthy ecosystems. Notably, she coordinates the Genetics and Genomics Interdisciplinary Project at the University of Sydney and researches gene variants associated with veterinary developmental anomalies.
