Biography

Hanchun Wang is a postgraduate student at the University of Cambridge within the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. Previously, he worked as a Research Assistant at Imperial College London and completed his MSc in Applied Mathematics there as well. Hanchun has also earned a Specialist Mathematics and Physics HBSc with a Major in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. His research interests are diverse and include non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, geometric mechanics, information geometry, nonlinear partial differential equations, and scientific computation. Hanchun has contributed to significant publications, including studies on Surface Wave Solutions of the Broer–Kaup–Boussinesq–Kupershmidt System and realistic earthquake simulations using Unreal Engine for material calibration. He maintains an active presence in academic research and regularly updates his findings and interests through his personal homepage.
