Biography

Hani Naguib is a Professor at the University of Toronto and the director of the Toronto Institute of Advanced Manufacturing. His main area of expertise is in manufacturing programmable materials and stimuli responsive materials, including metamaterials, nanostructured materials, and biomaterials. He leads a research group focused on the development of new synthesis and micro-nanofabrication techniques for additive manufacturing and energy management materials. Naguib has received numerous honors, including the Canada Research Chair and the Premier's Early Research Award in Ontario.
