Biography

Hanif Kara is a Professor of Architectural Technology at Harvard Graduate School of Design. He is a practicing structural engineer and co-founder of AKT II, which has been recognized for its innovative design approach and has received over 400 design awards, including the RIBA Stirling Award and the RIBA Lubetkin Prize. Kara has significantly contributed to the discourse on construction and building systems and is known for his work on sustainable construction and complex analysis methods in architecture.
