Biography

Hanlin Lou is a Research Fellow at the Business School, focusing on behavioural economics and applied econometrics. He conducts both field and laboratory experiments to investigate how information interventions can enhance decision-making and performance. Before joining UNSW, Hanlin was a postdoctoral research fellow involved in a collaborative project with the University of Sydney and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. He completed his PhD at the University of Technology Sydney in 2022, where his dissertation examined methodologies to improve people's performance through strategic information usage. Hanlin also holds a Master's degree in Applied Econometrics from Monash University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Heilongjiang University.
