Biography

Hanna Phan is a nationally recognized leader in pediatric pharmacy practice, education, and research. As a Clinical Professor and Director of Experiential Education at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy, she has developed and implemented innovative clinical pharmacy practice models in ambulatory care, specifically focusing on pulmonology, pediatric cystic fibrosis, and severe asthma. In her role, she oversees the Office of Experiential Education, coordinating vital experiential components of the Doctor of Pharmacy Program, including Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPEs) and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPEs). Dr. Phan is also a Faculty Affiliate and Executive Representative at the Susan B. Meister Child Health Evaluation Research (CHEAR) Center at the University of Michigan. With a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Michigan and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pediatric Pharmacotherapy from The Ohio State University, she has held faculty positions at the University of Arizona and has contributed significantly to national pharmacy organizations. She is a Fellow of both the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the Pediatric Pharmacy Association, serving in leadership roles within these organizations.
