Dr. Hannah Hedegard

Biography

Hannah Hedegard is an experienced lecturer in Language Linguistics at the University of Bern, specializing in World Englishes and forensic speech science. She holds a joint degree in Linguistics and Japanese from the University of Edinburgh and a Master’s degree in Forensic Speech Science from the University of York. Her research incorporates various methodologies in socio-phonetics, aiming to understand life and evolution of English language varieties across the globe. Hannah is dedicated to enhancing the learning experience in linguistics and contributes significantly to the academic community through her research.
