Dr. Hannah Medrano

Biography

Hannah Medrano is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics and Dental Hygiene at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Dentistry. She graduated from the School of Dentistry in 2011 and began her teaching career in 2014 at Houston Community College, specifically at the John B. Coleman College of Health Sciences. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to teaching students in both clinical and didactic settings, fostering an open and collaborative learning environment. In 2020, Hannah joined the faculty at the School of Dentistry, where she continues to teach and practice clinically. Her dedication to the dental hygiene profession extends beyond the classroom, as she actively participates in state and local dental hygiene organizations. She is committed to community service, particularly through her involvement in community outreach events. Hannah is affiliated with the Dental Hygiene Educators of Texas (DHET), the American Dental Education Association (ADEA), and the Texas Oral Health Coalition.
