Professor Dr. Hannah Ziobrowski

Biography

Hannah N. Ziobrowski, PhD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at Brown University School of Public Health. Her research primarily focuses on the development of treatments for mental disorders, emphasizing the impact of stress and trauma on mental health throughout the life course. Her work encompasses various mental health issues, including eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Dr. Ziobrowski is actively engaged in teaching and offers courses such as 'Using Epidemiology to Make Public Health Decisions' (GPHP 2010), 'Integrated Learning Experience' (GPHP 2900), and 'Public Mental Health: Framework for Studying and Preventing Mental Disorders' (PHP 1670) primarily for graduate and advanced undergraduate students. She has an impressive educational background with a PhD in Epidemiology from Brown University, an MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Washington University in St. Louis, and a BA in Neuroscience and Behavior from Vassar College. Furthermore, Dr. Ziobrowski completed her postdoctoral training in the Department of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School.
