Professor Dr. Hanne Kristensen

Biography

Hanne Kaae Kristensen is a Professor at the University of Southern Denmark specializing in Rehabilitation and Occupational Science. She has extensive experience in research focusing on person-centered rehabilitation, innovative medical technology, and decision-making processes for post-operative rehabilitation. Her research interests include developing online decision aids to facilitate shared decision-making for patients recovering from distal radius fractures. Hanne has a background in Occupational Therapy, holding both MSc and PhD qualifications. She holds special responsibilities within the research unit CIMT, where she leads projects aimed at enhancing patient outcomes through tailored rehabilitation strategies. Hanne has worked on numerous collaborative projects and has contributed to the academic community through various conference presentations and publications. Her commitment to advancing the field of Rehabilitation is demonstrated through her active engagement in teaching PhD students and her role as a Docent at UCL Erhvervsakademi.
