Biography

Hans-Martin Jaeger is an Associate Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Political Science at Carleton University. He holds degrees in Public Administration from the University of Konstanz, an MA from Rutgers University, and a PhD from Columbia University. Before joining Carleton, he taught at the University of Central Florida and served as a visiting professor at the University of Lucerne for nearly a decade. His research interests span critical international relations theory, international political theory sociology, global governance, international organizations, and postfoundational political thought. Jaeger has published extensively on topics within this field, contributing to journals such as International Theory, European Journal of International Relations, and Journal of International Relations and Development. He is currently engaged in a book project exploring concepts of world order through the lens of postfoundational theoretical responses to the ongoing global crisis.
