Dr. Hans Oh

Biography

Hans Oh is a social worker and psychiatric epidemiologist who focuses on the social determinants of health and the correlates of psychotic experiences. His research utilizes his academic training to examine how various social factors contribute to mental health, particularly within the contexts of Korean American populations. He earned his PhD from Columbia University’s School of Social Work, where he also received fellowships to enhance his training in adult mental health services, including those that address behavioral health challenges. Throughout his career, he has been involved in the education and learning sector as a moderator and panelist for workshops, sharing insights and findings from his research.
