Hany Farag is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Lassonde School of Engineering, York University. His research interests include the integration of renewable generation, energy storage, electric vehicles, renewable hydrogen, natural gas, and smart grids. Since joining York, Farag has secured $500,000 in funding from NSERC for power utilities and has led the development of teaching and research laboratories for a new Electrical Engineering program, valued at $2 million.
