Hao-Yuan Hsiao is an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Education at the University of Texas at Austin. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan Ocean University, followed by an M.Eng. in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University. Throughout his career, Dr. Hsiao has published numerous studies exploring various aspects of biomechanics and neurological rehabilitation, including the effects of visual biofeedback and perturbation on balance and gait in individuals post-stroke.
