Hao-Yuan Hsiao is an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Education at the University of Texas at Austin. He directs the Biomechanics NeuroRehabilitation Graduate Program and holds the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long Endowed Faculty Fellowship. He has authored numerous publications on topics that range from the effects of visual biofeedback on gait to the biomechanical responses to perturbations in post-stroke rehabilitation. Dr. Hsiao is also involved in several NIH projects aimed at exploring innovative rehabilitation technologies and techniques aimed at improving mobility in individuals with stroke.
