Biography

Hao Liang is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta. He received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada, in 2013. Prior to his appointment, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Waterloo, contributing to the Broadband Communications Research (BBCR) Lab and the Electricity Market Simulation Optimization Lab (EMSOL). Hao has been recognized for his contributions to the field, including receiving the Student Paper Award at the IEEE 72nd Vehicular Technology Conference in 2010. He has served as a System Administrator for the IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology and has participated as a Technical Program Committee Member in major international conferences within the information and communication systems and power/energy systems disciplines.
