Dr. Hao Wu

Biography

Hao Wu, MD, PhD, is an anatomic pathologist at Yale School of Medicine. He specializes in evaluating tissues, cells, and organs to identify a variety of conditions, with a focus on pediatric placental pathology and bone and soft tissue pathology. Dr. Wu provides specialized assessments and performs autopsy evaluations, contributing to comprehensive patient care. He completed his medical training at Xi’an Medical University in China and earned his doctoral degree from Boston University. His residency training was completed at Albany Medical Center and Boston Medical Center, followed by fellowship training in pediatric pathology at Boston Children's Hospital and cytopathology at Boston Medical Center. He is actively involved in clinical care and research, collaborating frequently with peers. As an associate professor at Yale School of Medicine, he is dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in the field of pathology.
