Dr. Haoge Xu

Biography

Haoge Xu is a PhD student in Operations Management at the Scheller College of Business. His professional experience spans investment banking, policy research, and corporate strategy with positions at J.P. Morgan and the Paulson Institute. Before beginning his doctoral studies, he worked at the Board Office of TCL Zhonghuan, the world’s largest solar wafer manufacturer, where he contributed to corporate strategy and sustainability initiatives while gaining exposure to manufacturing operations. In addition to his industry experience, Haoge served as a research assistant at the School of Environment, Tsinghua University, collaborating with corporate partners like Nike on leading industrial parks' decarbonization and low-carbon transition projects. He holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, Mines Paris – PSL, and the University of Western Ontario. His broad research interests include sustainable operations, renewable energy transitions, and the intersection of supply chains and finance.
