Dr. Harajeshwar Kohli

Biography

Harajeshwar Singh Kohli is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Duke University. He has a diverse educational background with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Spanish from Virginia Commonwealth University. Kohli has also earned a Master's in International Affairs from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He completed his medical education at Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Medicine, where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree. Afterward, he underwent residency training in Emergency Medicine at Emory University. Throughout his career, he has participated in various educational roles, including serving on the medical school admissions committee as an interviewer and teaching courses on Clinical Skills, Cultural Determinants of Health Disparities, and Inter-professional Education. Kohli's multidisciplinary expertise blends law, public affairs, and emergency medicine, which enriches his approach to medical education and practice.
