Dr. Haralambos Vasiliadis

Biography

Haralambos Vasiliadis is an Adjunct Professor at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, where he teaches courses in Water Resources Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, Environmental Systems Management, and Solid Waste Management. He currently serves as Senior Vice President at M&J Engineering P.C., leading their Water Resources division. Vasiliadis is a diplomate of several academies including Environmental Engineers, Water Resources Engineers, and Industrial Hygienists, and is a Certified Industrial Hygienist recognized by the American Board of Industrial Hygienists. He is actively involved in professional organizations such as the American Society of Civil Engineers, Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society, and the American Industrial Hygiene Association. In the realm of academia, Professor Vasiliadis has published over twenty articles and papers, contributing significantly to the fields of environmental engineering and risk management. His research interests encompass a variety of topics, including the design and analysis of environmental systems, environmental monitoring, air quality assessments, and hazardous materials management. He has also been involved as an expert witness in legal cases concerning environmental issues, reflecting his expertise and authority in the domain.
