Biography

Harry M. Kaiser is the Gellert Family Professor of Applied Economics at Cornell University's Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. He conducts research in price analysis, marketing, and quantitative methods. With over 145 refereed journal articles, five books, and 150 research bulletins, he has significantly contributed to agricultural and health economics. Kaiser secured $8 million in research grants and was named a fellow of the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association. In 2005, he was elected president of the Northeastern Agricultural Resource Economics Association and has received various honors including the Alumni Distinguished Achievement Award from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Board of Regents at the University of Minnesota. He has taught courses such as AEM 6400 - Analysis of Agricultural Markets, preparing the next generation of economists to address complex issues in food policy and agricultural economics.
