Harry undertook undergraduate degree supervision under Professor Ross W. Boyle at the University of Hull, UK, completing his Ph.D. funded by Horizon2020 MSCA-ITN POLYTHEA with supervision from Professor Mathias O. Senge at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, and Dr. Lígia C. Gomes-da-Silva at Universidade de Coimbra, Portugal. His thesis focused on generating oxidation resistant hydroporphyrins for photodynamic therapy in cancer. Following this, Harry held a Post-Doctoral position under the supervision of Professor Carl Redshaw at the University of Hull, where he utilized water-soluble calixarenes scaffolds for multimodal theragnostic treatments in cancer, developing novel functionalization methodologies for the application of heteroatomic analogues of calixarenes. Currently, as a Research Fellow in Professor Richard J. Whitby's group at the University of Southampton, he collaborates extensively with Professor Malcolm H. Levitt's group on the generation and analysis of a wide variety of endohedral fullerenes and fullerides.
