Biography

Prof. Madhyastha co-leads the Networked Systems Lab. He has previously held faculty positions at the University of Michigan and UC Riverside. He received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Washington and a B.Tech. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. His research has been recognized with the IRTF’s Applied Networking Research Prize on two occasions and includes award-winning papers presented at OSDI, NSDI, IMC, and IEEE CNS. Furthermore, he has secured multiple Google Faculty Research awards, a NetApp Faculty Fellowship, a Facebook Faculty Award, and the NSF CAREER award. At the University of Michigan, he was honored with the College of Engineering’s Neil Van Eenam Memorial Undergraduate Teaching Award.
