Biography

Hasene Kasaroglu is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics and the Medical Director of the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Women & Infants Hospital. She earned her medical degree from the University of Istanbul and completed her residency in Pediatrics at SUNY Downstate, followed by a fellowship at Tufts University. Dr. Kasaroglu has joined the faculty at Brown University, practicing at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. Her clinical interests focus on the care of extremely low birth weight (ELBW) infants, prevention and treatment of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), neuro NICU, clinical guideline development, quality improvement, and patient safety. Dr. Kasaroglu is committed to improving neonatal care and advancing the field of pediatrics through her work and research.
