Professor Dr. Hayden Bosworth

Biography

Hayden Barry Bosworth is a health services researcher and Professor in the Population Health Sciences, Psychiatry, and Medicine at Duke University. He serves as Deputy Director of the Center of Innovation to Accelerate Discovery and Practice Transformation (ADAPT) at the Durham VA Medical Center. His research focuses on clinical and translation research aimed at improving patient treatment adherence and self-management in chronic care, enhancing access and quality of care, and eliminating healthcare disparities. Dr. Bosworth has extensive experience in health behavior, health services research, implementation science, health measurement, and health policy. He is involved in various funded research projects, including initiatives aimed at promoting communication in healthcare and addressing health disparities. Dr. Bosworth is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's School of Public Health. He has led multiple educational and research initiatives centered on understanding and improving health outcomes across diverse populations.
