Biography

Hayley’s research focuses on improving children’s physical activity levels and health through multi-level interventions targeting children, families, and the built environment. She leads the PLAYCE (Play Spaces & Environments for Children’s Physical Activity) program, working with a multidisciplinary team to create healthy early childhood education and care environments. Additionally, her work investigates how home and neighborhood environments shape children’s health and development, and she has over 20 years of experience in health promotion practice, project management, teaching, and research.
