Biography

Heather M. Hall is an Associate Professor and Associate Director of Graduate Studies at the University of Waterloo, where she leads research in innovation and economic development, particularly in rural and northern regions of Canada. Her work has focused on the impacts of new technologies in the mining and agricultural sectors, as well as the community impacts of large-scale industrial projects.
