Biography

Heather Miselis, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, specializing in Family Medicine. She completed her medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine and holds a Master of Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health. Miselis is actively involved in teaching, advising, and providing leadership in professional development for the next generation of healthcare providers. She became the inaugural member of the BUSM Academy of Medical Educators in 2019. Her work focuses on developing healthcare teams to enhance patient experience, improve population health, reduce healthcare costs, and better the work-life of healthcare providers. Miselis is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and serves on the AIHC Program Committee, where she co-chairs the Student Engagement Workgroup. Her contributions to clinical education and research are evident through numerous grants, as well as her engagement with community health initiatives.
