Biography

Dr. Heather Morris is an Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Nursing, specializing in substance use, harm reduction, public health advocacy, and community engagement. As a research scientist with the Inner City Health Wellness Program at Royal Alexandra Hospital, she collaborates with community agencies to address health disparities. Dr. Morris is also committed to teaching and mentoring nursing students in her courses on community health and qualitative research methods.
