Biography

Heather Moss is a Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and the Department of Neurology and Neurological Sciences at Stanford University. She serves as the Associate Dean of the Stanford School of Medicine Office of Academic Affairs and as the Vice Chair for Clinical Research in the Department of Ophthalmology. Dr. Moss's clinical expertise lies in neuro-ophthalmology, with a focus on diagnosing and treating conditions such as optic nerve diseases and eye movement disorders. She completed her undergraduate studies in biomedical engineering at the University of Guelph and earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School, where she also completed her residency in neurology. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and serves on the editorial boards of multiple journals. Outside of academia, Dr. Moss enjoys spending time with her children and exploring northern California.
