Biography

Heather Sarsons is an economist whose research interests lie in labor, personnel, and behavioral economics. Her work focuses on understanding how norms, stereotypes, and biases influence labor market outcomes and inequality. Before joining the Booth School of Business, Sarsons was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Toronto's GATE Institute within the Economics Department. She received her PhD in Economics from Harvard University and holds a BA in Economics from the University of British Columbia. During her PhD studies, she also served as a visiting student at the London School of Economics.
