Dr. Hee Im

Biography

Hee Yeon Im completed her PhD at Johns Hopkins University, specializing in cognitive neuroscience and cognitive psychology. Her research primarily focuses on neuroimaging techniques including functional magnetic resonance imaging and magnetoencephalography, alongside behavioral studies relating to vision and action integration in both children and adults. Collaborating with researchers across various disciplines, she applies computational modeling and machine learning methods within her clinical research initiatives. She is affiliated with the Eye Care Centre and is part of the research excellence cluster at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, where she contributes to advancing knowledge in brain imaging, artificial intelligence, and their implications for vision science.
