Heidy Frias is an instructional assistant professor in the Humanities Medicine department at Texas A&M University Naresh K. Vashisht College of Medicine. Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, she graduated from Universidad Central del Este in San Pedro de Macorís and is trained as a General Family Physician. As part of the Humanities department, she works closely with faculty and students in the Practice Medicine courses and at the Clinical Learning Resource Center, where she evaluates students’ performance during the OSCE (Objectively Structured Clinical Exam).
