Biography

Helen E Bould is an Associate Professor in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Bristol, where she focuses on the epidemiology of eating disorders and the cognitive neuroscience of body perception. Her research aims to develop an understanding of the aetiology of eating disorders, which facilitates the development of prevention and treatment interventions in this field. In addition to her research, she works clinically as an honorary Consultant Psychiatrist with the Gloucestershire Health Care NHS Foundation Trust. Her work is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach, blending clinical practice with innovative research.
