Biography

Helen Kyomen, MD, MS, is an Assistant Professor at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, specializing in Psychiatry. She is a board-certified geriatric adult psychiatrist and has completed her fellowship in geriatric psychiatry as part of NIA-supported research training at McLean Hospital and the Harvard Division of Aging. Dr. Kyomen serves as the Medical Director of the Brighton Geriatric Psychiatry Program at Boston Medical Center and has held adjunct clinical faculty positions at Tufts University School of Medicine and Harvard Medical School. Her research interests center on ethical and patient-centered approaches to mental health care for older adults, particularly in the context of artificial intelligence. Her scholarly work includes numerous publications in leading journals and textbooks.
