Biography

Helen McKay is an Honorary Associate at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Warwick. She completed her undergraduate degree in Computer Science at Warwick in 2014, followed by a postgraduate master's in Data Analytics. Helen's PhD thesis, titled 'Online Transfer Learning Concept Drifting Data Streams', was partially funded by Jaguar Land Rover. As a Research Scientist at Mind Foundry, she continues her research on online learning and ensembles in transfer learning. During her PhD, Helen served as a seminar tutor for modules including CS118 Programming for Computer Scientists, CS255 Artificial Intelligence, and CS342 Machine Learning. Her research interests revolve around Online Machine Learning, Concept Drift, Ensembles, and Transfer Learning.
