Dr. Helen Skouteris

Biography

Helen Skouteris is a Professor at Monash University, specializing in Health Social Care Improvement and Implementation Science. She serves as the Head of the Health Social Care Unit and co-leads evidence synthesis initiatives. Her work focuses on bridging the research-to-practice gap, particularly in areas concerning the health and well-being of children, parents, and families facing social inequities. Skouteris has a strong track record in conducting longitudinal studies and randomized controlled trials, pushing forward the field of Implementation Science. Her team, which has grown significantly since its inception, promotes multidisciplinary research that emphasizes consumer and community involvement.
