Biography

Helena Isaksson Persson is a doctoral student and teacher educator at the Department of Learning at the Royal Institute of Technology. Previously, she worked as a high school teacher. Helena is currently engaged in the collaborative project K-ULF and her own research studies in technology and learning. She presented findings from a curriculum analysis and a literature review on computational thinking at the PATT39 conference in St. John's, Canada, in 2022. In 2021, she began her doctoral studies focusing on teaching and learning within technology subjects at the primary and secondary school level. At the PATT38 conference held at the University of Turku, she shared ongoing research on assessing the quality of student work. Her research includes a 2018 methodological study utilizing the Adaptive Comparative Judgment (ACJ) approach combined with cognitive matrices, presented at PATT36. Helena earned her Master's degree in the learning and communication of technology in 2015.
